Salam, in today's topic Nouman Ali Khan talked about what Allah (swt) says in the Quran about the gates of Hell and Heaven.
Towards the end of surah Saad and surah Zumar Allah talks about the beauty of Paradise. In Surah Saad, ayah 50, Allah (swt) describes how the gates of Jannah are already being held open. In Surah Zumar, ayah 71, Allah (swt) describes how the disbelievers will be forcefully pushed into hell and divided into categorized groups according to their sins. Then once they reach the gates of hell, Allah (swt) says that when they get to the gates of hell then and there the gates will open. This shows us the mercy of Allah (swt) and how he leaves the gates of heaven open and gates of hell closed because he doesn’t want his people to enter hell. In Surah Zumar, ayah 73, Allah (swt) describes that those who feared him will also be rushed quickly into the gates of heaven because Allah doesn’t want them to see the horrors of the Judgment Day for so long and so the gates f heaven will already be opened to them. In the same ayah Allah (swt) describes how once you walk into the gates the guardians will greet you and say peace be on to you and give you comments. In the next ayah (ayah 74) Allah (swt) says that once you enter heaven you will say Alhamdulillah but this Alhamdulillah is like no other Alhamdulillah.
The lesson learned from this lecture is that we should do our best and worship Allah (swt) alone so that inshallah we will be granted Heaven and the gates of heaven will already be open for us. We should ask Allah (swt) for protection from the evilness in ourselves and from the gates of hell and for them to be closed upon us.
today's topic is about the gates of paradise. Allah said in Surat sad 50 that the gates of paradise are already open for you to go through. Allah said in Surat az-zumar 71 that there is a load roar that's in hell fire and can even be heard out side of it. on the day of judgement the people will be rushed and pushed to hell fire. they will also be divided by the sins they make in thee life. once they reach the gates of hell they stop and then the gates will open. the people who obey Allah and don't do haram will be also rushed because Allah doesn't want them to hear the screams of hell and the roars. the angels rush them to paradise and they don't have to wait out side because the gates are already open. once you walk in to paradise you are greeted and complemented on how good you are from the angels. once the people walk through the gate they say alhduallah
Assalam alaikum, This lecture's topic was on the gates of paradise. In this lecture it talks about how the gates of heaven are already opened and always remain open. However the gates of hell are closed shut and will be open when the sinners will be sent there. The lecture talks about how people that are going to heaven will be rushed through the gates of heaven so they don't have to see how scary the day of judgement is, and when you walk through the gates angels will compliment you saying how good you are. For sinners Allah will divide them into groups and then the sinners will be pushed towards the gates of hell and the gates of hell will open then. Inshallah all of us will go to heaven.
Today’s video “Gates of paradise” by Nouman Ali Khan is a reflection based on two beautiful surahs, Surat Saad and Surat Zumar. In Surah sad, ayah 50, Allah (swt) explains how the promised gates of a Jannah are currently being held open. Where-as in surat Zumar Allah swt explains how the disbelievers will be herded, or quickly pushed towards Hell fire. The more reluctant they are pushed towards Jahanam by the angels, the louder the roaring sound of hell fire grows. In ayah 70 in surat Zumar, Allah describes how people are going to be categorized In hellfire based on their sinful actions such as haram consumption, lying, and cheating. In ayah 71 Allah says the gates of hellfire are pulled open as they arrive. Allah swt is so anticipated by the guests of Jannah, he orders the gates of eternity to remain held open, where as he ordered the gates of Jahannam to remain closed until one’s arrival. This shows that Allah swt does not want to welcome his creations into Hell. In ayah 73 (Zumar) Allah swt says that the people of Jannah will be rushed quickly or herded, just like he described for those entering hell. However, it is because Allah swt does not want us to see the horrors of judgment day for too long. Those entering Jannah will go right through the gates that are being helled open. Ayah 73 describes the greetings and compliments the angels will greet us with as we enter the gates of jannah. Subhanallah, the angels compliment you based on the good of your character, rather than the compliments we receive in this life based on materialistic things or our appearance. Then in ayah 74, it describes how those who just entered Jannah will immediately say “Alhamduallah”. We use this term in our every day life to thank Allah for ALL that he bestowed upon us. However, this “alhamduallah” that we are going to say in Jannah will be like no other. All the tests, questioning, hardships and suffering will be over. Inshallah we will be amongst those who the angels rush quickly towards the gates of Jannah.
In this lecture we talk about the gates of heaven and the Ayat from Surat Zumar. Allah says that the gates of heaven will always be open while the gates of hell will remain closed till someone needs to enter. What Allah is trying to convey here is his mercy and desire for us to go to Jannah. he leaves the gates of heaven open so we can be rushed in there so we dont ahve to witness the horrors of the day of judgments. also he leaves the gates of hell closed since he doesn't want us to go there but will open it if needed. He also places those in hell with the sins they commited. if you drank you will be placed with the DRUNK. Lastly we will say Al Hamudulliah when we enter Jannah inshallah and we should strive to do so.
